The Geumcheon Siheung Haenggung Cultural Festival is Geumcheon District's flagship historical and cultural festival, reflecting the area's historical identity and artistic significance. The 2026 edition opens with Part 1, "Haenghaeng Feast," portraying the excitement of residents awaiting the king's procession. Part 2 features the "King Jeongjo Royal Procession," recreating King Jeongjo's journey to visit his father Crown Prince Sado's tomb, presented in collaboration with the Seoul city government. The festival closes with Part 3, "Siheung Haenggung Night," a signature program featuring traditional Korean music that everyone can enjoy together, reflecting King Jeongjo's spirit of loving his people. With this varied lineup, the festival offers something for all residents to enjoy together.
