Siheung Tidal Channel Festival

The Siheung Gaetgol Festival takes place at Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park, home to Gyeonggi Province's only inland tidal creek. Built around a natural environment where old salt fields and wetlands blend together, the festival offers a range of programs for resting, learning, and having fun in nature, letting visitors become one with the surroundings—and to protect the park's natural environment, it's held as a car-free event. The signature program is the salt-field performance 'Memory of Salt, Dance of Water,' alongside other shows including Concert in Gaetgol, the Salt Warehouse Puppet Theater, the Forest Music Festival, and the Gaetgol Senior Runway. Other activities on offer include fantasy hot air balloon rides, Gaetgol Adventure Camp, Salt Play and the Barefoot Salt Path, a Sea Pool party, hands-on insect experiences, 'Gaetgol as My Playground for a Day,' salt-field experiences, a Slow Post Office, the 'Let's Walk Siheung' walking festival, the Siheung Salt Field Salt Festival, a street art festival, the Gaetgol National Art Competition, a Gaetgol memory photo studio, and a Gaetgol stamp rally.
