Hoengseong Korean Beef Festival

The 22nd Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival is Korea's leading stay-and-enjoy travel festival, held over five days from October 7 to 11, 2026, at Seomgang Riverside Park in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon State. Under the slogan "Delicious, Stay, Shine," the festival's theme is "An autumn worth staying for, a city shining with flavor - Hoengseong!" Its goal is to showcase the excellence and brand power of Hoengseong hanwoo (Korean beef) nationwide and to boost the local economy, and it's organized by the Hoengseong Culture and Tourism Foundation. The festival features 14 programs across three themes: food, culture and arts, and hands-on experiences. With daytime (10:00-18:00) and nighttime (18:00-21:00) programs designed to work together, it's built to keep visitors around longer, and it's a collaborative festival bringing together local merchants, farmers, and residents.
