About
The 2026 14th Yeonsu Neungheodae Cultural Festival celebrates the history of Neungheodae, the port from which ancient Baekje envoys once set sail with a spirit of challenge and adventure. It's a festival that shares that same spirit with today's Yeonsu residents. Highlights include the district's signature 'Baekje Envoy Parade' along with various programs for residents to join, plus a Citizens' Day awards ceremony, celebrity congratulatory performances, fireworks, and experience booths that make this festival special. This year features the largest drone light show yet, with around 2,000 drones lighting up the night sky. Under the theme 'Neungheodae, Voyage of Light,' the show reinterprets the history of maritime exchange through Neungheodae and the meaning of sailing toward the world using cutting-edge media technology, creating a spectacular display of light.
