The Gimcheon Gimbap Festival is a local culture and tourism festival held in Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang Province. Gimbap isn't actually a famous local specialty of Gimcheon, but the festival was created around the city's nickname, "Gimcheon, the Kingdom of Gimbap." It's built around gimbap-themed experiences, exhibitions, performances, and games so that both local residents and visitors can enjoy it together. There are hands-on programs where you can make and taste your own gimbap, plus performances and activity zones for all age groups.
