About
The 18th National Marine Sports Festival is the country's largest gathering for water sports, held to get more people into marine leisure. Hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries together with the host city and partner organizations, it moves to a different city each year and brings together athletes and club members from across Korea for both official and exhibition events. The 18th edition takes place in Geoje, Gyeongsangnam-do, with competitions in sailing, canoeing, underwater and fin swimming, triathlon, and more. Visitors can try banana boats, kayaks, and SUP paddleboards, and there are cultural performances and side events too. Set against Geoje's coastline, it's a national-scale event where sport, travel, and hands-on fun come together.
