Yesan Apple Festival

This year's 23rd Yesan Apple Festival will be held alongside the spectacular Yedang Lake Suspension Bridge, Korea's largest, offering a wide range of apple-themed programs for visitors of all ages. By choosing this year's venue to make use of the local Yedang Lake Suspension Bridge as a tourism asset, the festival will connect the iconic Yedang Lake observation deck and the surrounding tourist facilities to promote both Yesan apples and the region's landmark together during the event. Under the theme "A Sweet Day at Yedang Lake," the festival will introduce visitors to the taste and quality of Yesan apples through apple wine, apple desserts, and collaborations with jazz, traditional Korean music, and classical performances. One highlight program, the "Yesan Apple Sale Festa," is a direct sales event run by the Yedang Apple Horticultural Cooperative with participation from local apple orchards; running for just two days during the festival, it will be a signature program where visitors can buy high-quality Yesan apples at low prices.
