Yeonggwang Bulgap Mountain Sangsahwa Festival
영광불갑산상사화축제
About
At the thousand-year-old temple Bulgapsa and along the beautiful slopes of Mount Bulgapsan, the red spider lilies (sangsahwa) bloom again to mark the start of autumn. Now in its 26th year, the Yeonggwang Bulgapsan Sangsahwa Festival invites visitors into a special moment where nature and people meet amid waves of red blossoms. Centered on millions of red spider lilies blanketing the mountainside, a variety of programs take place along the trails and hillsides. By day, visitors can enjoy the scenery where flowers and nature blend together, while at night, soft lighting creates a magical nighttime view of the blossoms. Performances, exhibitions, hands-on activities, and events featuring the festival's mascot
