Yeoju Five Grains Ferry Landing Festival

The Yeoju Ogok Naru Festival is a traditional culture festival based on the history of Jopo Naru, one of the four major ferry crossings of the Joseon Dynasty, through which Yeoju's excellent agricultural products like rice and sweet potatoes were once delivered as tribute to the king. Highlight programs include a tribute parade, rice bibimbap cooked in a giant cauldron with Yeoju rice, a roasted sweet potato Guinness challenge, a wishing ribbon path, and a traditional fireworks show called nakhwa-nori. With a wide variety of food, traditional hands-on activities, and nighttime programs, it's a representative autumn festival that people of all ages can enjoy.
