Seocheon Hongwon Port Gizzard Shad & Blue Crab Festival

Held at Hongwon Port, one of the West Coast's main fishing harbors, this festival is all about eating seafood at its peak. The stars are Seocheon's famous wild gizzard shad, rich and nutty, and blue crabs packed with meat. There's more to do than eat: catching gizzard shad with your bare hands, folk games, and photo spots set up around the grounds. With the sea right there, it's an easy day of good food and good memories.
