About
In 1967, Father Didier t'Serstevens came to Imsil as a missionary and, starting with just two goats, worked alongside young villagers through countless trials and hardships to produce Korea's first-ever cheese. The Imsil N Cheese Festival celebrates this achievement while boosting the local economy and cheese industry. Held every early October at Imsil Cheese Theme Park, it has grown into one of Korea's leading culture and tourism festivals enjoyed together by Imsil residents and visitors alike.
