Oegyein Grand Festival

Now in its 7th edition, the Alien Grand Festival is a signature family-friendly festival hosted by the Miryang Arirang Space Observatory, the only observatory in Korea specializing in extraterrestrial life. Centered on the theme of space and aliens, it's a science culture festival in Miryang designed for kids and parents to enjoy together. This year's edition takes place around Yeongnamnu Pavilion and the Miryang riverside under the concept of an "Alien Sports Day." Moving beyond a watch-only event, it's now hands-on, with the whole family able to run, play, and take part in activities like a Meteor Run, laser tag, and a costume contest. Space and science content is woven throughout, blending fun with educational value, and combined with programs linked to the Miryang Arirang Space Observatory, it gives families and friends a chance to step away from everyday life and create some out-of-this-world memories.
