In 2026, the Bucheon International Comic Festival will hold its 29th edition as Korea's leading comic-focused cultural tourism festival, open to anyone who loves comics. This year's theme, "Comics & Webtoons Made Easy," brings a wide variety of comic content programs and cultural experiences so visitors can enjoy the festival anytime, anywhere. The lineup includes special exhibitions, a fan-favorite "Meet the Artist" program, a playground and outdoor market booths for hands-on experiences, and the International Cosplay Championship with participants from 14 countries around the world.
