The 13th Hoengseong Deodeok Festival will be held for three days, from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Nonggeo-ri festival grounds in Cheongil-myeon, Hoengseong County. Under the theme "Delicious Deodeok, Fun Festival, Exciting Cheongil," the event brings together Hoengseong's deodeok (mountain bellflower root) grown in clean natural surroundings, along with other local produce. Visitors can try deodeok-based food experiences and browse various food stalls, plus exhibition and sales booths run directly by local farmers. There's also a Nonggeo-ri dance competition and hands-on programs for visitors to join in and enjoy. Centered on Hoengseong's signature crop, deodeok, the festival brings together local culture and community.
