Gyechon Hyu Festival

About
The Gyechon Hyu Book & Music Festival is a new kind of rest-and-culture festival held in Gyechon Village, a place that has carried on the value of art through classical music for a long time. As daily life speeds by and the meaning of "rest" gets forgotten, this festival brings it back through a special mix of books, music, and nature. Set in Gyechon's green countryside, classical performances, book programs, hands-on activities, local dining, and participatory workshops take place all over the village. A plastic greenhouse turns into a small concert hall, a park becomes a place where books and music meet, and outdoor dinner tables let visitors share local food and stories. Rather than just watching a show, visitors can stay immersed in nature and art, filling the day at their own pace for a true rest. The festival carries the vision of the Gyechon Classical Art Village project, built together by local residents, artists, and visitors.
