About
The Gumi Food Festival started in October 2022 to comfort citizens and small business owners who had struggled through the long, hard tunnel of COVID-19 while wearing masks, and to bring fresh energy back to the local economy. Enjoying the pleasant autumn breeze, many citizens gathered at Songjeong Matgil (Gwangpyeong Parking Lot in Songjeong-dong) in the heart of downtown Gumi. In this lively, romantic space, families, couples, and friends shared delicious food, watched fun performances, and filled the air with laughter. With over 200 different menu items offering a taste of variety, plus plenty of activities for kids, it has become one of Gumi's signature festivals that people of all ages can enjoy.
