The National Heritage Night Tour is a nighttime program that connects heritage sites with local historical and cultural resources through viewing, hands-on activities, performances, and exhibitions, centered around areas rich in national heritage. In Gongju, the event is held around the modern heritage sites of the old royal capital area, including the former Gongju-eup Office and Gongju Jeil Church, with programs organized around eight nighttime themes. This year marks the festival's 10th consecutive edition as well as the 100th anniversary of the 1926 'Gongju City Map,' so the event carries the subtitle '1926 Gongju Romantic Soiree' in celebration. Visitors to the festival will enjoy a variety of programs that bring Gongju's modern history from a century ago to life.
